These terms govern your use of the ora command-line tool and the oracommand.com website. By using ora or visiting our website, you agree to these terms.
The Service
ora is a command-line tool for autonomous AI-powered reasoning and code generation. The oracommand.com website provides downloads, documentation, and support resources. In the future, the website may also offer pro features and subscription services.
License
ora is provided as-is for your use. The free tier includes full access to ora's local functionality with no usage limits. ora interacts with third-party AI providers on your behalf, and usage of those providers is subject to their own terms and pricing.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own API keys for any AI providers you use with ora. You are responsible for any costs incurred with those providers. While ora tracks costs for your convenience, provider billing is entirely between you and the provider. We do not guarantee the accuracy of cost estimates displayed by ora.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any code, text, or other output generated through ora before using it in production or any critical context.
No Warranty
ora is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that ora will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI model outputs generated through ora. AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You use all AI-generated outputs at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, oracommand.com and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of ora.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ora to:
- Generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or threatening content
- Produce malware, exploits, or tools designed to cause harm
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ora binary
- Attempt to circumvent any access controls or usage limits
Pro Features
When available, pro features will require an active paid subscription. Pricing and the specific features included in pro plans are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice before making material changes to pricing or removing features from an active plan. Refund policies for pro subscriptions will be detailed at the time of purchase.
Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the prompts you write and the code or content you create using ora. We claim no ownership over your inputs or outputs. The ora software, brand, website, and documentation are the intellectual property of oracommand.com.
Modifications to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of ora or the oracommand.com website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the ora CLI or website.
Termination
You may stop using ora at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to pro features or services for accounts that violate these terms. The free, locally-running functionality of ora is not subject to termination since it operates entirely on your machine.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ora shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
